Bahçeşehir University Opens the Doors of Europe to Entrepreneurs!
Through its collaboration on innovation and entrepreneurship processes with KU Leuven University, ranked 42nd in the Times Higher Education (THE) world rankings, in Belgium , Bahçeşehir University has launched the BAU Hub Belgium Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center , which, with its programs and support, is positioned as Turkish Entrepreneurs' gateway to Europe!
BAU Hub Belgium Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center , with its programs and support, has applied under the KOSGEB Overseas Accelerator Support Program with the "BAU Hub Global Overseas Acceleration Program" . Through this program, the aim is to position technological products whose R&D and innovation activities are carried out in Türkiye in international markets, especially in Europe; to integrate domestic technology-intensive startups into advanced entrepreneurship ecosystems; to increase exports; and to provide access to investment and international customers.
BAU Hub Belgium Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center , with its programs and support, offers this program to the startup teams at the BAU Hub Incubation Center ( (https://bau-hub.com/ ). Forming a key part of these teams' opening up to global markets in line with their 2023 growth goals, the "BAU Hub Global Overseas Acceleration Program"will be carried out based at KU Leuven in Belgium, where our Office is located, taking into account the advantages this geography offers, in Belgium (2 weeks) ) - the Netherlands (2 weeks) - Germany (one (1) day, based in Aachen) , that is, in three (3) countries, for one (1) month .
The theme of the BAU HUB Global Programhas been set as "Life Sciences" . Both the region's competence in this field, where the program will be built, and the presence within the BAU HUB Incubation Program of competent businesses (startups) in this theme whose products have a high TRL (Technology Readiness Level) were influential in choosing this theme. Developing technology within the Life Sciences thematic area, 9 businesses (startups) will, within the BAU HUB Global Program, have the opportunity to connect with experienced mentors, investors and industry experts and to discover new networks and resources.
