ArchiDesign Talks continues with its 9th event!
On Tuesday, 23 December 2025, we will host the talk “360" Transport Design” with Sedat Öztürk at BAU North Campus, B Block, 2nd floor – Material Library. The session will be moderated by Aslıhan Yılmaz.
Sedat Öztürk completed his undergraduate education in Industrial Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSÜ) in Istanbul. He began his professional career while still at university, working with several mid-scale companies. In 1997, he joined Ford Otosan, marking the beginning of his long-term international career in automotive design.
In 2000, he moved to the United States to work at Nissan Design America in Detroit. He later transferred in 2002 to Volkswagen Design Mexico in Puebla, where he continued his work on global automotive projects. In 2005, he joined General Motors Europe in Rüsselsheim, Germany, contributing to Opel vehicle programs.
In 2011, he became part of Volkswagen Advanced Design Center in Potsdam, Germany, where he worked on future vehicle concepts for the brand. After spending 12 years abroad working in major international automotive design studios, he returned to Turkey upon invitation for a motor yacht design project, successfully completing the entire design and development process of the Momenta 36 HT Motor Yacht.
Since 2012, his company has been providing services in Transportation and Industrial Design, Engineering, Management, Consultancy, Prototyping, and Limited Production, delivering projects for both Turkish and global markets.
