Program Definition
The actuarial profession is one of the leading professions in the world and finds its place in every sector that involves the evaluation and management of financial risk.The aim of the Masters program in Actuarial science is to equip the student with a sound academic background in the field, provide an understanding of the insurance business, give information about national and international best parctices and current problems and solutions in the area. Lectures are run by academics as well as by qualified actuaries and other specialists. Graduates of the program, with the advantage of their developed skills, may take national or international actuarial exams and sequentially acquire the titles of trainee actuary, assistant actuary and actuary as defined in the Turkish actuarial code.
