Students can apply to a double major program at the beginning of their 3rd semester at the earliest, and at the beginning of the academic year of their 5th semester at the latest.
Students should have passed all courses with credit that they completed in their major programs. Courses with a grade of 'W' are considered to be not taken. The student's cumulative GPA must be at least 3.00, and the student should be in the upper 20% of his/her major program in terms of success.
The cost of a double major program is 30% of the original major program. Beneficiary students will not pay for a double major program.
The student's acceptance to a double major program must be determined by the governing council of the related faculty.
The student's major program will not be influenced by the student's success or the failure in the double major program.
To complete a double major program, the student complete at least 36 credits from the related related department of the double major program.
Double major program students cannot choose elective courses which they are responsible for in their major program.
During the double major program, the cumulative GPA of a student can fall to 2.60 only once. If the cumulative GPA falls below 2.60 a second time, the student's double major program will be canceled.
Students must graduate from their major programs to receive a Double Major Diploma and the cumulative GPA of their double major program must be at least 2.80.
Students who acquire graduation status from their major program must complete their double major program within 2 semesters.
It is not possible to complete two double major programs at the same time. However, students may complete a double major program and a minor program.
The students can only apply 1 double major program. However, they can apply a Double Major program with a Minor program at the same time.
Students must have at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA in their major programs. If this requirement is not upheld, their double major program will be canceled.
There is no success ranking application for double major programs.
