The Department of Photography aims to graduate students who respect their work, love their profession and find happiness in it, can create a positive working environment, have well-developed aesthetic sensitivity and intuition, solid technical knowledge and competence, original creative skills, and sensitivity to the world and the society they live in. For this reason, the department strives to build the technical skills, culture, creativity and sensitivity required by the cultural industries nourished by visual literacy and creative thinking with which the branches of photography are in contact, and it maintains communication with institutions and organizations working in these fields.

Career Opportunities
With an innovative and dynamic perspective required by our time, our department organizes exhibitions, screenings, talks, workshops and portfolio days to ensure the continuity of education and our working discipline and to continuously raise the quality of education. Students in our department, which has a sharing and social atmosphere, are required from their first year to acquire equipment that enables professional work and all the materials they will use in their projects. However, this investment quickly pays off through the exhibitions and projects realized while they are still students. Our graduates, who understand forms of visual expression and master the fundamentals of intersensory interaction, work in professions such as photography, cinematography, visual consultancy and motion graphics design.
