Group work gives students the opportunity to overcome the difficulties they experience (for example, communication skills, anxiety and adjustment problems) together with other students experiencing similar problems. In the group psychological counseling process, participants have the opportunity to explore issues that affect them in every sense, such as their inner world, lifestyles and relationships, in a safe group environment under the leadership of one or more specialists. Groups, which usually consist of 8-15 people, are organized as 1.5-hour sessions once a week over a period of at least 4 weeks. Participation in the groups, which are run on the principle of confidentiality, is determined following initial consultations. The topics, registration and start dates of group sessions are determined during each academic year and announced to our students.
