Two different types of support meeting the criteria below are provided under EFD.
EFD-1: Co-financing support may be provided for project applications under TÜBİTAK (excluding 1002), the Ministry of Development, Development Agencies, European Union Projects, TAGEM, SSB and similar programs that, at the application stage, require a certain proportion of the project budget to be covered by BAU, in projects where the budget for the scientific research and work will be transferred directly to BAU. Projects of a social responsibility nature are outside the scope of support.
EFD-2: Co-financing support is provided for project applications aimed at capacity building and commercialization that are continuations of projects supported within the last 5 years by the Ministry of Development, Development Agencies, European Union Projects, TAGEM, SSB and similar programs, whose purpose was to generate new knowledge, raise the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) or solve technological problems, and that were successfully carried out at BAU in accordance with scientific principles.
