Global Leadership Forum Certificate Program

The Global Leadership Forum (GLF) is a certificate program organized every academic year by the Bahçeşehir University School of Government and Leadership and the Center for American Studies, with the support of the Türkiyem Foundation. By addressing global policies at the level of international relations, as well as Türkiye's regional and bilateral relations within the framework of these global policies, from multiple angles, GLF aims to provide its participants with diverse perspectives. Leadership, one of the issues that must be examined carefully and in detail in the 21st century, needs to be developed further, particularly in the field of foreign policy, and its development should be encouraged. Today, when leadership is a phenomenon that can only be nurtured through knowledge and experience, there is a particular need for well-equipped, knowledgeable and experienced individuals in global politics. It is an undeniable fact that disagreements and conflicts in foreign policy arising from international cultural differences and communication gaps between countries can only be resolved by well-educated, knowledgeable and qualified leaders. From this perspective, as the Bahçeşehir University School of Government and Leadership and the Center for American Studies, we attach great importance to efforts to develop leaders in the 21st century. Aiming to develop the qualities required for leadership by addressing leadership from different perspectives at the level of international relations, the Global Leadership Forum explores different elements and topics of leadership every academic year with the participation of many guests from around the world and Türkiye who stand out for their leadership qualities. In this way, our guests share their knowledge on various subjects with the participants, as well as their experiences of how to be a leader in today's world. The aim of the program is thus to equip participants with the knowledge needed on the path to becoming the leaders of the future, and to broaden their vision by helping them gain new perspectives.
