PROJECT WRITING FOR GRANT FUNDS CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
The Project Writing for the EU and Development Agencies certificate programis one of the programs organized by the Bahçeşehir University Government Leadership School jointly with Koç-Yönder to develop participants' professional skills; it was first held in the 2009-2010 academic year and is planned to be held regularly every academic year.
Program Objective:
The objective of the Project Writing for the EU and Development Agencies certificate program, organized in collaboration between the Bahçeşehir University Government Leadership School and Koç-Yönder, is to provide training, in light of theoretical and practical knowledge, not only in creating projects but also in preparing small-scale projects aimed at and in harmony with macro projects.
Program Features:
The Project Writing for the EU and Development Agencies certificate program is held every academic year at the Bahçeşehir University Beşiktaş main campus. The program is designed as four separate sessions each day on Saturdays and Sundays between 09:00 and 16:30 for two weeks. The training takes place in an environment where participants can share their questions and views interactively with the instructor and other participants during the sessions. Participants who successfully complete the program are awarded a certificate. Participants must attend 80% of the program to be eligible for a certificate.
Practical work and group work are considered the most important part of the program. Within the scope of the certificate program, workshops on writing and funding EU grant programs are held every week. The main goal of these workshops is to internalize how projects take shape in practice after learning their theoretical and logical framework. The model project created at the end of the workshops will give participants a tested preview of the individual and group applications they will make in the near future.
