Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology

The Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine adopts as its core principle the provision of modern healthcare services in all fields of orthopedics and traumatology without compromising scientific and ethical approaches.

Our Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology treats all kinds of orthopedic diseases and musculoskeletal injuries within three different affiliated hospitals. These can be classified as:

- Orthopedic traumatology (general skeletal system injuries and fractures),
- Arthroplasty (prosthetic) surgery,
- Sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery,
- Bone and soft tissue tumor surgery,
- Pediatric orthopedic surgery,
- Adult reconstruction and deformity correction surgery, and
- Foot and ankle surgery.

Faculty members specialized in these fields provide modern healthcare services to both national and international patients, while a theoretical and practical training program in line with the core curriculum is offered to the students of Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine.

In addition, the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology continues to represent the institution at the highest level in national and international scientific congresses, courses, executive boards of scientific associations, and national and international board examinations.
