Applications for the Diplomat School 23 Certificate Program Have Started
The Diplomat School program, organized by the Bahçeşehir University International Leadership Application and Research Center (ULMER) Government Leadership School as a first in Türkiye in terms of its name, format and content, now meets students with its renewed content and new format.
Having hosted many individuals who shape the decision-making and opinion mechanisms of the country's foreign policy, including ministers, ambassadors, members of parliament, opinion leaders and distinguished academics, the Diplomat School has continued to raise its own bar each academic year with the support of its esteemed guests and the interest of its participants.
The aim of the Diplomat School program is to transform today's and tomorrow's diplomats and leaders into well-equipped individuals who are knowledgeable about national affairs and capable of solving problems, and to equip them with objective information and data.
The language of the program is English. The program takes place over 14 weeks on Mondays between 08:30 and 11:30. Held each week with different guests in single or multiple sessions, each session concludes with a Q&A segment.
At the end of the program, a certificate is awarded to participants who meet the attendance requirement (75%) and successfully complete the end-of-program evaluation. Participants who meet the attendance requirement are also entitled to a certificate of participation.
Diplomat School certificates, together with "Diplomacy School 22," have gained the status of a recognized training certificate that can be verified via e-Devlet.The program will be held at Bahçeşehir University South Campus. This year, for the first time, the "Diplomat School" certificate program is being held in a certified course format in parallel with the undergraduate course "Diplomacy," together with the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences.
As a long-term program, the Diplomat School examines many important issues concerning Türkiye and the world in the context of events and processes from the past to the present.

50% scholarship for Bahçeşehir University students:500 TL

Due to the capacity limit caused by the pandemic, registration/admission evaluations are made in order of application.

**Applicants who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye may apply with temporary ID numbers starting with 9.
***ULMER-HLO reserves the right to continue the program online in cases such as public health concerns or disasters.
****ULMER-HLO may change dates, times and topics in extraordinary circumstances.
*****Make-up/additional sessions, which every participant can also follow asynchronously, may be added so that some topics specified in or added to the plan can be covered in more detail and more efficiently during the program.
******A transcript is available for Bahçeşehir University students who choose the POL2244 Diplomacy course, provided that they meet the course passing requirements.
