Scope of the Non-Interventional Ethics Committee

SCOPE OF THE NON-INTERVENTIONAL ETHICS COMMITTEE

1. All observational studies, except for drug observational studies and medical device observational studies,
2. Survey studies to be conducted in the field of Health Sciences,
3. Retrospective archive screening studies (file records, imaging records, etc.),
4. Research conducted using archived materials obtained during previously performed routine examinations, tests, analyses, and treatment procedures,
5. Cell or tissue culture studies,
6. Research involving genetic materials for identification purposes, excluding gene therapy,
7. Research conducted within the scope of nursing activities,
8. Dietary studies involving food additives related to nutrition,
9. Research related to human physiology,
10. Studies based on anthropometric measurements,
11. Research evaluating lifestyle habits.

Exclusions

Interventional procedures such as blood sampling, tissue sampling, saliva collection, urine collection, medical or dental examinations, medical imaging, tooth extraction, etc., are not evaluated within the scope of this ethics committee.
