PLURIEX Youth Voices
PLURIEX Youth Voices
PLURIEX Youth Voices is an open, participatory platform created to amplify young people’s perspectives on Europe, democracy, inequality, and epistemic justice. It is part of the broader PLURIEX initiative, but it is open to all students and young people, including those not formally involved in the PLURIEX project.
Youth Voices is designed as a voluntary engagement space, where students can contribute ideas, reflections, creative work, and research-based outputs that challenge dominant narratives and promote plural, inclusive ways of knowing Europe and the world.
Who Can Participate?
PLURIEX Youth Voices welcomes:
- University students from all disciplines
- Young researchers and early-career scholars
- Activists, student representatives, and engaged young citizens
- Any student interested in European politics, from all disciplines.
No prior involvement in PLURIEX is required. Participation is voluntary, flexible, and non-hierarchical.
How Does It Work?
Participants can engage through:
- Short blog posts and reflective essays
- Opinion pieces and policy reflections
- Visual storytelling (photography, illustration, digital art)
- Podcasts, videos, and creative media
- Collective discussions, online forums, and thematic calls
All contributions are curated to encourage respectful dialogue, critical thinking, and epistemic diversity.
Why Youth Voices?
PLURIEX Youth Voices is grounded in the belief that young people are not just learners, but knowledge producers. The platform aims to:
- Create space for marginalised, overlooked, and alternative perspectives
- Encourage critical engagement with European and global challenges
- Foster dialogue across disciplines, borders, and experiences
- Support students in developing confidence, voice, and public-facing skills
Recognition and Engagement
While participation is voluntary, contributors may receive:
- Certificates of participation (where applicable)
- Opportunities to be featured on the PLURIEX website and social media
- Invitations to online discussions, workshops, and youth-focused events
- Experience in public writing, knowledge dissemination, and policy-oriented communication
