Mission and Vision

Mission

Bahçeşehir University is committed to providing students with disabilities a supportive environment equipped with quality resources in order to remove barriers to their academic development and to help them strengthen their independence as individuals. In line with this institutional mission, the Disabled Student Unit strives to create a safe and accessible academic environment for all students with disabilities. The unit works to remove physical barriers that limit active participation at Bahçeşehir University and takes the necessary steps to ensure equal access to education. It also identifies the needs of students with disabilities during their studies, determines potential barriers they may face, and develops and implements appropriate solutions and arrangements to address these challenges.

Vision

The vision of the Bahçeşehir University Disabled Student Unit is to contribute to building a university environment where all individuals have equal rights and opportunities without discrimination; where students can study, work, and benefit from academic and social services under equal conditions; and where the university takes an innovative and leading role in interdisciplinary academic and social initiatives related to accessibility and inclusion.
