Exemption Conditions from the Preparatory Program
Dear International Students,
If you have been accepted into an associate or undergraduate program at Bahçeşehir University where the medium of instruction is Turkish, you must meet one of the following two conditions to be exempt from the Turkish preparatory program:
- Achieve a score of at least 60 points if you are an associate or undergraduate student, or at least 65 points if you are a graduate student, on the Turkish Proficiency Exam administered by the School of Foreign Languages at Bahçeşehir University.
- Submit a Turkish proficiency certificate from an institution affiliated with the Higher Education Council (YÖK) that meets the following requirements:
- The exam must be conducted face-to-face under the title "Turkish Proficiency Exam." Placement, Certificate, or Diploma exams do not exempt students from the Turkish preparatory program.
- The proficiency certificate must specify both a level and a score, with the level being at least B2 and the score being at least 60 for associate/undergraduate students and at least 65 for graduate students.
Documents that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted. We kindly ask all our students to review these conditions carefully.
