Radiology is a medical specialty where images inside of the body are interpreted to diagnose diseases. It produces images of the internal structure of the body using X-rays, high-frequency sound waves, or very strong magnetic fields for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. To work in the relevant profession, it is necessary to graduate from the two-year associate degree department, "Medical Imaging Techniques".
Students who finish the Medical Imaging Technician Program are given the title of "Medical Imaging Technician".
With a vast employment area, graduates of the Medical Imaging Technician Program can work in; universities, public and private hospitals, private medical centers, and private imaging centers. In addition, students who graduated from this program can continue their master's programs by being successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
