Specialty: The diagnosis and treatment of cases with orthodontic problems are taught and treatment applications are made. Students earn the title by writing a specialty thesis and completing case treatments.
Doctorate: The diagnosis and treatment of cases with orthodontic problems are taught alongside doctoral courses. Students earn the title by writing a doctoral thesis and completing case treatments.
The specialist physician who knows the diagnosis and treatment of all orthodontic treatment techniques can apply all orthodontic treatments.
After their graduation, dentistry students who want to continue their education in Orthodontics can apply to related programs in Graduate School or can be placed in the Orthodontics Specialization programs by taking the Specialization in Dentistry exam (DUS). Our colleagues who have the title of Doctor of Science or Specialist can work in private or public health institutions or continue their careers as academicians within universities.
