We are releasing the first output of GAMEHIGHED. The publication consists of an overview of game development education in four countries; based on the study visits to Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz (Poland), Charles University in Prague (Czechia), University of Jyväskylä in Jyväskylä (Finland), and Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul (Turkey). The curricula and learning outcomes examined along with the active game industry collaborations. Each university has its own game development education strategies and they reported their prospects, country-specific contexts of the national higher education system, local game industry and communities. Output 1 of the GAMEHIGHED project "Initial Research & Analysis Report" presents an overview of this research and analysis so far. You can also check out the "Turkish summary".
We are open to collaboration with education institutions interested in testing, implementing, or co-creating educational resources in the next stages of the project. See the Call for Partners.
