A physiotherapist is a healthcare professional trained to provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation for congenital or acquired diseases, disorders, or injuries, as well as to conduct preventive physiotherapy applications within the scope of health protection and improvement. In this context, physiotherapists are experts who use contemporary assessment and measurement methods to determine the physiotherapy and rehabilitation needs of individuals, and who plan and implement personalized physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs.
In line with their professional training, physiotherapists adopt preventive, corrective, and developmental approaches, considering the holistic needs of patients, their families, healthy individuals, and society. Accordingly, improving quality of life and promoting sustainable health constitute their fundamental professional vision.
