Over the last decade, the world has witnessed unprecedented levels of international migration, and an increasing questioning of migration governance at the national, regional and international levels. Under the conditions pushing for rising human mobility and the restrictive policies of many destination countries to control their external borders, good governance of migration becomes more important than ever. The aim of this webinar is to bring together discussions on the changing trends in the governance of international migration and asylum from the refugee crisis of 2015 to the COVID-19 crisis, by focusing on the cases of Turkey and the European Union.
