Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Institutions made another educational investment in Unites States of America.
Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Institutions has opened the dormitory which has been under construction in Washington DC for two years. The dormitory is the first Turkish dormitory in Washington and will serve under Island Condos title. In the capital where accommodation is an issue for foreign students and the dormitory shall host Turkish students studying in Washington with its 100 beds capacity.
Serdar Kılıç, Ambassador of Republic of Turkey in Washington; Kaya Henderson, Washington DC State School President; Enver Yucel President of Bahçeşehir Ugur Education İnstitutions; Dr. Sinem Vatanarıtan, Rector of BAU International; Ahmet Kose, CEO of Bahçeşehir Ugur Education Institutions America Operations; Dr. Wlid Pharis, Provost of BAU International participated in the opening ceremony and the foundations of second dormitory is laid. In the ceremony Enver Yucel stated that “We are proud of making another education investment in United States of America. I hope next year our student capacity will be increased to 200 with the second dormitory foundations of which laid today. Bahcesehir Ugur Education Institutions aim to increase the bed capacity to minimum 1500 in the next 10 years.”
Participants of opening ceremony and students admired Island Condos which is founded on a 40.000 sq feet area in the north of Capital Hill, also close to Catolic University and living quarters, having a developed technologic infrastructure, common use areas, indoor design and modern appearance.
