Changing Region: Conference on “Role of Turkish Foreign Policy and Soft Power” held in BAU Beşiktaş Campus, B Conference Hall. 

Gülnur Aybet, Chair of Bahçeşehir University Department of Political Sciences and International Relations gave the opening speech and made important statements with regard to the importance of role of Public Diplomacy.

Dr. Jamie Shea, NATO Vice General Secretary; Dr. Claire Spencer, Director of Chatham House Middle East Program; Can Dizdar General Manager of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Middle East-North Africa; David Buchan from Institution of Oxford Energy Researches; Prof. Gary Rawnsley from Aberystwyth University; Dr. Senem Çevik from Ankara University Department of Communication Studies and more academicians and senior authorities participated in conference and issues including Turkey- NATO relations, Eurasia Energy Highways, Regional Highways          and Employment of Youth  are discussed.

Opening ceremony of BAU Center  for Security Studies BAUCESS was also held in the activity. Prof. Dr. Gulnur Aybet is the director of the center.
