Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Health Sciences,the conference organized by Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation(PMR) Club on the topic of “Importance of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation For Injuries During Sports” took place in Fazıl Say Hall with the participation of former national football player Rüştü REÇBER, Doctor of Fenerbahçe Sports Club Prof.Dr. Burak KUNDURACIOĞLU, Associate Dr. Demirhan DIRAÇOĞLU from Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Physiothreapy Specialist for Sports in 5th May 2015.
The main message conveyed during the conference named “Physiotherapy in Sports” was the fact that the physiotherapy is not only essential for injuries but also applied for preventing injuries and boosting performance. Bahçeşehir University Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Prof.Dr. Orhan BABUÇCU delivered the opening speech and made statements regarding the importance of physiotherapy in sports.
The Deputy Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Assistant Professor Dr. Hasan Kerem ALPTEKİN who approached the stage right after the speech of Prof .Dr. Orhan BABUÇCU, mentioned the importance of direct dialogue and colloboration between the sportsman and medical team.
