Through a cooperation between Bahcesehir University and academic centre in Rome there will be credits from 15.000€ to 25,000€ provided for entrepreneur university students in Italy. Bahcesehir University succeeded a great innovation through a cooperation with its academic centre in Rome. BAU who opened an academic centre in the capital of Italy, Rome 3 years ago, signed another partnership deal with the National Instituition for Micro Credit (Ente Nazionale Per İl Microcredito - ENM) which will support the young enterpreneurs.
The deal was announced in a meeting took place in the Assembly of Representatives in Italy.
Mario Baccini, who is a former senator, minister and president of ENM which was found by United Nations with the proposal of the Secretary-General of that time, Kofi Annan in order to combat with poverty and provide a better environment for entrepreneurship, said “ We are glad to come to an agreement with Bahcesehir University, which is among the prestigious universities.
President of BAU Board of Overseers, Mr. Enver Yücel by reminding that they are among the young universities of Turkey with 18,000 students and more than 1000 academics stated that being an international university benefits them to a great extent.
Credits from 15.000€ to 25,000€ provided for young Turkish Entrepreneurs in Italy
Enver Yücel who shared information regarding the program which will be initiated in October, later on said: “We opened a contact centre in Rome, 3 years ago. In this centre, sometimes, we practice certificate programs for the students coming from Turkey. This centre practices activities which will contribute the development of commercial relationships, cultural shifts and cooperations between Italy and Turkey. We decided to practice MBA(Master of Business Administration) programs with the instituition called Microcredito. This is the agreement to give credit to the students who practice an MBA program, who has an idea to develop and wish to be active in the area of entrepreneurship. Thus, with an initiative from Italy to further develop the entrepreneurship and innovativeness which have been practiced throughout the world for many years, the Turkish students wishing to receive MBA programs in Rome will be supported. We wish to develop this initiative. We wish this whole process to contribute the economic relations between Turkey and Italy.”
Mr. Yücel, who reminded Turkey is placed 4th in economic relations and cooperation with Italy, stated that within this program there will be a financial support to entrepreneur students from 15.000€ to 25.000€. He also stated that there will not be a limitation to the credit provided to the student as long as it is beneficial.

Mr. Yücel who reminded that they have already opened universities in various places of the world said: “ We have universities one each in Washington and Berlin. We established a medical school in Batum. We strive for our academic centre in Rome to become a university in a year. We initiated the legal process related to the aforementioned issue and it’s been going well. I believe that we will have a university in Rome in a year, as well”
