The sixth ICIDS conference, the world’s foremost international academic conference on digital games, mobile applications, interactive films and dramatic digital works is being held this year at BAU Istanbul.
The conference, with the collaboration of Bahçeşehir University Game Laboratory (BUG), International Digital Games Research Association (DIGRA) Turkey Department and Game & Narrative Research Group, will continue for 3 days and work from approximately 90 researchers representing 25 countries will be presented.
In addition to the panel and sessions at ICIDS 2013 Istanbul, special presentations from such luminaries as Toni Dove, who is known for her interactive digital art work, Ernest W. Adam, a specialist in digital game narratives and co-founder of International Game Developers’ Association, and Adam Russell, a designer of artificial intelligence of successful role-playing games will be given.
At the BAU Galata Campus, the Digital Interactive Narrative exhibition and demo presentations which will be inaugurated on November 7 can be visited throughout the conference.
