BAU Faculty of Law Makes an Educational Visit to the European Court of Human Rights

"The first day of the Europe - International Institutions and Courts Program, traditionally organized every year by the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law, began on 13 January 2020 with our students' educational visit to the European Court of Human Rights. As part of the visit, following an eye-opening talk by Judge Róbert Ragnar Spanó, Vice President of the European Court of Human Rights, on the history of the Court and its function and operation today, our students visited the Council of Europe and had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the establishment, operation and current issues of the Venice Commission, one of the main references in Europe on matters such as constitutional law, democracy and electoral systems."
