Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Program Information Day Held

The Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Program Information Day, organized in collaboration with BAUTTO and TÜBİTAK, was held at Bahçeşehir University.

In her opening speech, Hande Büyüknisan, BAUTTO Assistant International Project Specialist, talked about TÜBİTAK and Horizon Europe programs as well as the support BAUTTO provides to academics. Giving valuable information on the path academics wishing to develop European-funded projects should follow, Büyüknisan spoke about the importance of Horizon Europe programs in enabling academics to develop their projects by building a global network.

"Within the MSCA framework, there is a support mechanism suitable for every age and every career stage."

Şeyma Sayımlar, TÜBİTAK Marie Skłodowska-Curie International Fellowships and Research Support National Contact Point and Program Committee Member, shared with participants the importance of this program, which will strengthen human potential in research and technology in both quality and quantity and support researchers' career development. Speaking about the COFUND, Doctoral Networks and Postdoctoral Fellowships programs in addition to the MSCA program, Sayımlar conveyed the necessary information, such as the sectors supported by the programs, researcher eligibility criteria, funding budgets, project formats, evaluation criteria and call timelines. Emphasizing that Technology Transfer Offices play a very important role in bringing projects and funding in TÜBİTAK and Horizon Europe programs to more academics, Sayımlar added: "Universities with strong TTOs produce excellent projects."

BAU Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Prof. Dr. Serdar Durdağı Shared His Experience

Our academic Prof. Dr. Serdar Durdağı, who had previously been funded and awarded support under the Doctoral Networks call, shared the experience he gained in the Doctoral Networks program with participants. Stating that what Şeyma Sayımlar explained was very valuable, Durdağı shared his own experiences in developing projects with the audience and emphasized the importance of moving forward without giving up and developing projects by taking the right steps.
