Sweephy, a big data cleaning platform founded in 2021 by BAU Software Engineering graduates Ertuğ Dilek and Abdullah Kandilli and ITU Computer Engineering student Erce Can Bektüre, which cleans data from different sources and formats with its own cleaning algorithms without requiring coding knowledge, has completed a 125 thousand euro pre-seed investment round with the participation of Startup Wise Guys, Alesta Yatırım and Geometry Venture Development, as well as angel investors including Özgür Gen.

Initially targeting the Turkish and European markets and having already acquired its first customers from Türkiye and the United Kingdom, Sweephy plans to use this investment to accelerate its product development processes and to grow its current team.

The Market Is Expected to Exceed 4 Billion Dollars

Commenting on the matter, Sweephy Co-Founder Abdullah Kandilli pointed out that the market size of data preparation software is projected to exceed 4 billion dollars in 2026. Kandilli said, "There is an annual growth of 25.2 percent. As the Sweephy team, we also want to take part in this new market, which has emerged with the development of new solutions and technologies in data science and big data."
