Work Has Begun on Neslican Tay Park

Passing on to future generations the will to live and the struggle to hold on to life of our student Neslican Tay, who is etched in Türkiye's collective memory, is a debt of gratitude for our institution. In this context, an interdisciplinary student workshop is being held between 15 February and 5 March 2020 in collaboration with the Istanbul Beşiktaş Municipality and the BAU Faculty of Architecture and Design. The design selected at the end of the workshop by a jury of representatives of the relevant institutions and experts will be placed in a park to be named after Neslican Tay within the boundaries of Beşiktaş Municipality.
