Applications for the Global Leadership Forum '20 Certificate Program Have Started

The Global Leadership Forum (GLF) is a certificate program organized every academic year by the Bahçeşehir University School of Government and Leadership and the American Studies Center, with the support of the Türkiyem Foundation. GLF aims to give its participants different perspectives by addressing global policies at the level of international relations, and Türkiye's regional and bilateral relations within the framework of these global policies, from many angles. Leadership, one of the issues that must be examined carefully and in detail in the 21st century, should be further developed, especially in foreign policy, and the development of leadership should be encouraged. Today, when leadership is a phenomenon that can only be nurtured by knowledge and experience, there is a particular need for well-equipped, knowledgeable and experienced people in global politics. It is an undeniable fact that, in foreign policy, the way out of disputes and disagreements between countries arising from international cultural differences and communication breakdowns can only be opened by well-trained, knowledgeable and qualified leaders. With this in mind, as the Bahçeşehir University School of Government and Leadership and the American Studies Center, we attach great importance to work on training leaders in the 21st century. The Global Leadership Forum, which aims to develop the qualities required for leadership by addressing leadership from different perspectives at the level of international relations, explores different elements and topics of leadership every academic year with the participation of many guests from around the world and Türkiye who stand out for their leadership qualities. In this way, our guests share their knowledge on various topics with participants as well as their experience of how to be a leader in today's world. The aim of the program is thus to equip participants with the necessary knowledge on the path to training the leaders of the future and to broaden their vision by helping them gain new perspectives.
