Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility

Within the scope of Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mağrur Kazak visited the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Plovdiv in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, between 9 and 13 May 2022.

Within the scope of Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mağrur Kazak had the opportunity to present Bahçeşehir University and its facilities, introduce the Faculty of Dentistry and provide information about its education. Dr. Kazak also invited the faculty members and students of the Plovdiv University Faculty of Dental Medicine to both our university and our faculty within the scope of Erasmus.

Bahçeşehir University is pleased to announce that an inter-institutional agreement has been signed with the Medical University of Plovdiv in the fields of Dentistry and Medicine within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program (2021-2027).

On the first day of the mobility, following a visit to the Erasmus office of MU-Plovdiv, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mağrur Kazak held a meeting with Dean Prof. Dr. Veselina Kondeva from the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Vice Dean for International Relations Prof. Dr. Ilian Hristov from the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Vice Dean for Science and Research Prof. Dr. Iliana Stoeva from the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Allergology and Physiotherapy, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vesela Stefanova from the Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics.

On the second day of the mobility, Dr. Kazak attended the Clinical Case Forum presentation of 6th-year students as a Visiting Professor. The following day, Dr. Kazak attended the clinical internship of 4th-year students in the Department of Endodontics, and in the afternoon gave a lecture to undergraduate students titled 'Basic Concepts in Black Cavity Preparations', which concluded with a question-and-answer session with the students. On the 4th day, he was hosted by Prof. Dr. Neshka Manchorova, Head of the Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics, and then gave a presentation based on Case Presentations to the department team. On the last day of the mobility, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kazak visited the Medical Museum with Prof. Dr. Georgi Tomov from the Department of Periodontology, and then met with professors from different departments of the Plovdiv Faculty of Dental Medicine and had the opportunity to tour its specialized centers.
