Opportunity for University Candidates to Experience Courses in Their Desired Program

Bahçeşehir University (BAU) Open Class courses, which will give university candidates the opportunity to experience the courses of the program they wish to study, are starting. Access to the system is free of charge, and the online courses aim to give students detailed information about the field they want to specialize in.

BAU will continue many of the events and training sessions it holds for prospective students throughout the year on a digital platform under the name "BAU Open Class", with many topics.
 
Bahçeşehir University (BAU) has started teaching students who have switched to distance education due to the coronavirus and are preparing for university with the "BAU Open Class" system, held for the first time in Türkiye, so that they can experience university courses. The courses, which thousands of students will attend, consist of subjects considered to be among the professions of the future. It is stated that the BAU Open Class system gives students preparing for university the opportunity to experience the university and its courses, while also aiming to help students develop themselves in different fields. 

Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Big Data in the Technology 101 Course

 
With content prepared by Bahçeşehir University (BAU) academics, high school students will have the chance to receive training in the Technology 101 course in the fields of 'Artificial Intelligence Shaping Technology’, ‘Blockchain, the Data Recording System of the Future’, ‘Big Data, the Power of Information', while in the Psychology 101 course they will also be able to attend sessions on 'How Do We Make Our Moral Decisions? A Social Psychological Approach’, ‘The Brain and Memory from a Neuropsychological Perspective: Myths and Facts’, ‘What We Can Learn from Clinical Psychology: Pandemic, Quarantine and Psychological Well-Being'. Within the program, students will get to know the programs they want to study and discover their potential by gaining a university experience. 

Health, Law, Economics and Media Also Added to the Curriculum

 
In the 'BAU Open Class' program, designed specifically for students preparing for university, it is possible to receive training in many fields, from health to law, from economics to society, and from the sustainable development goals to media. The program aims to increase the motivation of students preparing for university on their university journey and to support their career orientations and choice of profession.

On this digital platform featuring a total of 34 different courses and sections, students preparing for university can choose as many courses from the list as they wish.

High school students, 3,138 of whom have registered in the system to date, are informed by SMS before the courses begin.
