BAU Global President Enver Yücel Named Entrepreneur of the Year in Türkiye

BAU Global President Enver Yücel has been named Entrepreneur of the Year in the 'E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year' program, organized for more than 30 years by Ernst & Young (E&Y), one of the world's leading consulting and auditing firms. Yücel will participate as a candidate for World Entrepreneur of the Year at the "E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year" ceremony to be held on 4 June.

The Türkiye leg of the 'E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year' award program, regarded as the world's most prestigious business award program for entrepreneurship and held in Türkiye for the 12th time this year, has been concluded. In the program, BAU Global President Enver Yücel, who also serves as President and Advisory Board Member of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) International Training Center Türkiye, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Year'. Yücel will participate as one of the candidates in the 'E&Y World Entrepreneur of the Year' competition, to be held online in Monaco on 4 June 2020 at 21:00 Türkiye time.

BUSINESS LEADERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE AROUND THE WORLD ARE AWARDED

The jury members evaluated the winners of the 'EY Entrepreneur of the Year' program according to criteria such as entrepreneurial spirit, strategic perspective, social and cultural impact, financial performance, individual/corporate social responsibility, reputation and innovative approach. Enver Yücel, who took first place in the Türkiye program of the "EY Entrepreneur Of The Year" competition, had become the first Turk in the world to receive an award in this category when he received the "Global Education Contribution Award" at the UNCA Awards held under the auspices of United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2014.
