11th ConsEuro 2022 International Scientific Congress Held

The 11th ConsEuro International Scientific Congress, organized in partnership with the Turkish Society of Restorative Dentistry (RDD), the European Federation of Conservative Dentistry (EFCD) and the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Association (EDAD), was held in Antalya on 21-23 April 2022. Faculty members of the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the BAU Faculty of Dentistry contributed to the congress with oral presentations and as session chairs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Toz Akalın gave an oral presentation of the scientific study titled "Survival of Direct Restorations Using 'Cention N' without Adhesive Resin: 3-Year Clinical Results."

With this presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Toz Akalın received the Best Oral Presentation Award in the Senior Researcher category from the Turkish Society of Restorative Dentistry (RDD), while the scientific study received the Best Scientific Study Award in the Operative Dentistry category from the European Federation of Conservative Dentistry (EFCD).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mağrur Kazak successfully gave an oral presentation of her scientific study titled "Evaluating Cytotoxicity of Dentin Bonding Adhesive Systems on Human Dental Pulp Stem Cells."

Assist. Prof. Dr. Yeşim Şeşen Uslu successfully gave an oral presentation of her scientific study titled "Fracture Resistance of Teeth with Simulated External Cervical Resorption Cavities Repaired with Different Materials."

Assist. Prof. Dr. Meriç Berkman successfully gave an oral presentation of her scientific study titled "Investigation of 12-Month Clinical Performance of Self-Etch Adhesive with Two Different Contents Applied to Class V Cavities."

The scientific study titled "Influence of EGCG Pretreatment on Immediate Bond Strength of a Universal Adhesive Cement," in which Assist. Prof. Dr. Meriç Berkman took part as a researcher, received the 3rd Best Oral Presentation Award in the Young Researcher category from the Turkish Society of Restorative Dentistry (RDD) and the 3rd Best Scientific Study Award in the Operative Dentistry category from the European Federation of Conservative Dentistry (EFCD).
