"Talking Refugees" Event Held!

The "Refugee Talks" event was held on 10 June 2022 on the occasion of World Refugee Day, in partnership with the CIFAL Youth Platform under CIFAL Istanbul, UNITAR and Bahçeşehir University. At the event, where refugees' fundamental rights such as health, social integration and inclusion in the labor force were discussed, BAUMUS founding director Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata and Selin Özsoy presented critical findings from their co-authored article "Feminization of Refugee: Intersectionality, Solidarity, Resistance", drawing attention in particular to the vulnerable positions of women refugees.
