Conference on the 61st Anniversary of Migration from Türkiye to Germany, from Past to Future, Held!

A special conference marking the 61st anniversary of Turkish migration to Germany was held on 21 November 2022 at the Turkish-German University, with the contributions of the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.

The conference began with an exhibition themed "Migration to Germany in Photographs", and the opening speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, President of the Turkish-German University. In his speech, he evaluated the phenomenon of migration while also drawing attention to the diplomatic and socio-economic dimensions of migration to Germany.

In the 1st session of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Ulaş SUNATA, founder of the Bahçeşehir University Center for Urban and Migration Studies, gave a presentation titled "A Sociological Perspective on the History of Migration along the Türkiye-Germany Route".
