Applications for the School of Politics 22 Certificate Program Have Started

The School of Politics program, organized by the Bahçeşehir University International Leadership Application and Research Center (ULMER) School of Government and Leadership as a first in Türkiye in terms of its name, format and content, returns to campus this year with renewed content and a new look, in cooperation with the Foreign Policy Institute (DPE).

Having hosted many figures who shape the decision-making and opinion mechanisms of the country's governance, such as presidents, prime ministers, ministers, ambassadors, members of parliament, opinion leaders and distinguished academics, the School of Politics has raised its own bar every academic year thanks to the support of its distinguished guests and the interest of its participants.

The aim of the School of Politics program is to equip today's and tomorrow's leader candidates with objective knowledge and data so that they can adapt to the changing profile of politics and politicians in a globalizing world. In the program, important events and periods in Türkiye from the past to the present are conveyed not only theoretically, but also through the cause-and-effect relationships of events, by politicians, academics, diplomats, economists, scientists and business people who were directly involved in them.

The School of Politics certificate program is held on Saturdays over 12 weeks each academic year. The language of the program is Turkish. The program runs every Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00. It consists of three separate sessions of one hour and forty-five minutes each week, and each session ends with a Q&A segment.

At the end of the program, participants who meet the attendance requirement (75%) and successfully complete the end-of-program assessment receive a certificate. Participants who meet the attendance requirement are also entitled to a certificate of participation. As of "School of Politics 22," School of Politics certificates have gained the status of recognized education certificates that can be verified via e-Devlet. The program will be held at the Bahçeşehir University South Campus.*

In the School of Politics, a long-term program, many important issues concerning Türkiye and the world are assessed in light of events and processes from the past to the present.
