BAU Students Celebrate at Welcome Fest

19 February was a day of wonderful moments at Bahçeşehir University. At WelcomeFest, organized by BAU Student Clubs, activities held throughout the day across various areas of the university gave BAU students their fill of fun.

The day kicked off early in the morning with a short meeting of the festival team and continued with unflagging energy until late at night. Rodeo, sumo wrestling and human table football competitions in the front garden had spectators in fits of laughter and gave participants plenty of fun. The penalty shootout at the goal set up in A Garden was also fiercely contested. In addition, with the contribution of the Bahçeşehir College basketball team Red Dragons, a shooting contest with prizes was held at the hoop set up for the event. Winners received BK Basketball jerseys and sweatshirts.

Meanwhile, activities continued throughout the day in the Main Foyer area. Sponsor booths, club activities and a mini FIFA tournament also delighted WelcomeFest participants. Thanks to the BAUMUSIC acoustic stage set up in the Main Foyer, festival-goers warmed up for the evening concerts.

On the stage in the front garden, concerts throughout the day offered participants a unique musical feast. Alternative bands and karaoke competitions filled the main stage with music until the evening. On the main stage, where BAU DANCE and the BAU Folk Dance Community also performed, Sefo 362, BAU alumna Ece Turanlıoğlu, Doğuş Çabakçor and Hande Ünsal took the stage in the evening.

Taking its place among BAU's epic festivals with around 8,000 participants, WelcomeFest will be remembered as an unforgettable festival by the festival team, the participants and BAU's academic and administrative staff alike.
