Applications Open for the School of Politics 23 Certificate Program

A Bahçeşehir University Classic, the School of Politics program, organized as a first in Türkiye in terms of its name, format and content by the School of Government Leadership of the Bahçeşehir University International Leadership Application and Research Center (ULMER), will meet its students in the halls again in 2023 with renewed topics and guests.

Having hosted many people who form the decision-making and opinion-shaping mechanisms of the country's governance, such as presidents, prime ministers, ministers, ambassadors, members of parliament, opinion leaders and distinguished academics, the School of Politics has raised its own bar every academic year with the support of its valued guests and the interest of its participants.

The aim of the School of Politics program is to equip today's and tomorrow's leadership candidates with objective knowledge and data so that they can adapt to the changing profile of politics and politicians in a globalizing world. In the program, important events and periods in Türkiye from past to present are conveyed not only theoretically, but through the cause-and-effect relationships of events, by politicians, academics, diplomats, economists, scientists and business people who were directly involved in them.

The School of Politics certificate program is held on Saturdays between January and April every academic year. The language of the program is Turkish. The program, held every Saturday, takes place throughout the day. In the program, which is held in separate sessions under different topics, each session ends with a question-and-answer segment.

At the end of the program, a certificate is awarded to participants who meet the attendance requirement (75%) and successfully complete the end-of-program evaluation. In addition, participants who meet the attendance requirement are considered entitled to receive a certificate of participation.Starting with "School of Politics 22," School of Politics certificates have gained the status of recognized training certificates that can be verified via e-Government. The School of Politics 23 program is also organized with the same status. The program will be held at Bahçeşehir University South Campus.*

In the School of Politics, a long-term program, many important issues concerning Türkiye and the world are evaluated on the axis of events and processes from past to present.

 

Program Fee and Payment Information:

Total:2400 TL

50% scholarship for students studying at all higher education institutions:1200 TL

For people with disabilities, veterans and relatives of martyrs, it isfree of charge.

Atwo-installmentoption is available with contracted bank credit cards.

Since there is a quota limit due to the pandemic, registration/admission evaluations are made in order of application.

Application System Guidelines

*Students residing outside the city have been given the opportunity to participate in the program in hybrid form. Physical attendance is mandatory for students of universities located within the provincial borders of Istanbul.

**Candidates who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye can apply with temporary Turkish ID numbers starting with 9.

***ULMER-HLO reserves the right to continue the program online in situations such as public health issues or disasters.

****ULMER-HLO may change dates, times and topics in extraordinary circumstances.

*****During the program, sessions that every registered participant can attend online may be added on Sundays so that some topics specified in or added to the plan can be covered in more detail and more efficiently.
