Bahçeşehir University Joins the Make Impact Consortium

Bahçeşehir University is the newest member of the Make Impact Consortium, founded and led by MIT!

By joining the Make Impact Consortium, in which 20 universities from different countries come together under MIT's leadership and open their laboratory and educational resources to one another, BAU, through this agreement,

• will offer its students MIT mini-master certificates, special training, the chance to attend summits and training seminars to be held in 20 different cities around the world, and the opportunity to carry out research projects with member universities in 20 different countries.
• With this agreement, which opens the laboratories to be brought together on an interdisciplinary basis at the BAU Future Campus, as well as all of BAU's resources, to the universities in the consortium, not only BAU students but also students from all over the world will be able to become part of the BAU family.
• Thanks to BAU's efforts, Türkiye will now join countries such as the United States, France, Australia, Japan, Colombia, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Canada in this consortium, which serves many purposes, such as connecting all member universities through the same system, keeping students and academics in constant communication with one another, and facilitating project production.

The first summit of the consortium, which aims to spread technology, entrepreneurship and innovation among universities and to create shared ecosystems, will be held at MIT on 27-28 October.

With this agreement, the BAU Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences will offer new opportunities to the engineers of the future.
