Child Law Symposium Held!

The Child Law symposium, organized in cooperation with Bahçeşehir University and İstanbul Arel University, was held on 16 December 2022 at the Bahçeşehir University Fazıl Say Conference Hall.

Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata, founding director of the Bahçeşehir University Center for Migration and Urban Studies and one of the speakers of the final session titled "Climate, Migration and the Child," addressed the intersectionality of the issue of access to education, particularly for refugee children and children under temporary protection in Türkiye, in the talk titled "The right to education of migrant children," and highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary teams of sociologists, lawyers and psychologists coming together to propose solutions to the integration problem.
