2021 Higher Education Evaluation and Quality Assurance Status Report Published

YÖKAK, which aims to strengthen the quality assurance system in higher education in order to contribute to the continuous development of higher education institutions in Türkiye and to individuals' attainment of universal competencies, has been carrying out the external evaluation of higher education institutions since 2016 through the Institutional External Evaluation Program, the Monitoring Program, the Institutional Accreditation Program and the Interim Evaluation process.

Based on the external evaluations of higher education institutions carried out in 2021, YÖKAK analyzed the reports of all programs conducted and produced the 2021 Higher Education Evaluation and Quality Assurance Status Report. In addition to analyses aimed at the continuous improvement and development of higher education institutions, the report offers recommendations for many stakeholders, such as policy developers and decision-makers, the management of the higher education system, the business world and graduates, higher education institutions, accreditation bodies and researchers.
