Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Educational Sciences Teacher Candidates Meet Schools

The Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Educational Sciences (BAU FES) has always aimed to stand out from its peers, through the programs it offers, the content of those programs and its work focusing students on their career goals before graduation.

The information age we live in places important responsibilities on educational institutions to train a qualified workforce and continuously develop these qualifications. Aware of this fact, BAU FES organized the first-ever "TEACHER CAREER FAIR" in Türkiye on 22 December 2018 to bring the teacher candidates it trains together with educational institutions and guide them in finding employment after graduation.

Before the fair, teacher candidates received training to prepare for it on topics such as creating a personal portfolio, preparing a CV, shooting a short video and job interviews. Before the fair, students created candidate profiles and shared their portfolios on the web page prepared for the fair. In this way, participating schools had the opportunity to review candidate profiles before the fair.

Thanks to this event, students had the opportunity to learn about the participating schools, meet school administrators, express themselves and show the gains BAU FES has given them.

Through the "TEACHER CAREER FAIR", the invited schools also had the opportunity to find, in one place, teacher candidates trained and well equipped in their fields in line with the requirements of the age in the education sector.

After the fair, once the schools had evaluated their interviews with our teacher candidates, job offers were made to our teacher candidates and contracts were signed.
