BAU HUB EARTHQUAKE & DISASTER MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY VENTURES SUPPORT PROGRAM (BAU HUB -DAYT/DP)

As the BAU HUB Incubation Center, our focus areas within the scope of the earthquake & disaster management technologies program are:

• Technologies for the Risk Identification and Damage Reduction Phase: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), Big Data-based technologies,
• AI-Based Supply, Logistics and Distribution Network Optimization and Automation Solutions,
• Earthquake-Resistant Building Material Development Technologies,
• Technologies Developed for Post-Disaster Support Mechanisms: Education, Health, Uninterrupted Secure Communication, Social Media Applications and Other Technologies Related to These Fields.

Your business idea applications in these areas will be evaluated by BAU Hub taking into account the application criteria below.

• Applications submitted by teams of at least 2 and at most 5 people,
• The business idea must be an original, technology-based idea developed specifically for this program,
• Anyone who is a student enrolled in, a graduate of, or an employee of any associate, undergraduate, master's or doctoral program,(Priority will be given in the evaluation process to business idea owners directly affected by the disaster in the provinces of Adana, Adıyaman, Elazığ, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye and Şanlıurfa, which were affected by the earthquakes of 6 February 2023.)
• All entrepreneurs who have not yet incorporated, are not at an early (idea) stage, and have a product or service at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 may apply.

PROGRAM

Application Deadline:13 April 2023

Applications will be collected within the application period, and after the pre-evaluation, the owners of the 6 shortlisted business ideas that meet the criteria will give their presentations at the online "Pitch-Deck Presentation Day" event featuring the BAU Hub Jury members. The venture team that ranks in the top 3 as a result of the evaluations will be announced on our social media accounts and website.
