In the 2022-2023 Fall semester, all education programs consist of 3 application periods. Application Periods

Undergraduate Field Requirements for Education Programs

English Language Teaching:

• • English Language Teaching
  • English Language Teacher Education
  • English Language and Literature
  • American Culture and Literature
  • Linguistics
  • Translation and Interpreting
  • Candidates who graduated from French or German Language and Literature or Teaching departments may apply to the distance education non-thesis program provided that they have taught English for at least 2 years and hold one of the internationally recognized English teaching certificates.

Preschool Education Program:

  • Psychological Counseling and Guidance
  • Psychology
  • Primary School Teaching

Guidance and Psychological Counseling:

Master's Application Documents

1. Copy of bachelor's diploma or temporary graduation certificate (certificate of graduation obtained via e-Government)

2. Copy of the document (transcript) showing all courses taken and grades received at the undergraduate level (or diploma supplement)

3. For our Thesis-Based Master's Programs, a copy of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) or equivalent exam result document (a minimum score of 55 in the EA or SÖZ score type is required) (ALES is valid for 5 years.)

4. For our Master's Programs taught in English, a Foreign Language Result Document (YDS and YÖKDİL are valid for 5 years; TOEFL and the BAU Proficiency Exam are valid for 2 years.)

6. Copy of ID card

7. Two reference letters

8. Copy of military status document for male candidates

9. CV

10. YÖK Equivalency Certificate (required from candidates who completed their bachelor's or master's studies abroad)

11. Statement of Purpose(It must be at least one page long and prepared in the language of the program applied to.)

12. Employment Certificate (Official Institutional Document to be obtained by candidates from their workplace)
