Foreign Policy Talks in Memory of Sami Kohen I

The first meeting of the "Foreign Policy Talks" series, organized to mark the third anniversary of the passing of veteran journalist Sami Kohen, who left a deep mark on foreign policy journalism in Türkiye with the foreign policy articles he wrote for Milliyet newspaper for 66 years, was held at our university.

The opening speeches were delivered by Prof. Dr. Hümeyra Adıgüzel, Dean of the BAU Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences; Özay Şendir, Editor-in-Chief of Milliyet newspaper; and Jale Kohen Aldiş on behalf of the Kohen family. Following the opening speeches, in the session moderated by Prof. Dr. Esra Albayrakoğlu, Vice Dean of the BAU Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Retired Ambassador Uluç Özülker, Can Baydarol, Vice President of the European Union and Global Studies Association, and Prof. Dr. Birgül Demirtaş, faculty member at TED University, gave presentations on foreign policy and international relations.
