Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot
ANNOUNCEMENT
3rd- and 4th-year students who wish to represent Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law next year in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, held annually in Vienna with the participation of nearly four hundred law faculties from various countries, are required to send an email including their CV and a brief explanation of why they wish to take part in the competition to the email addresses below by Monday, 25 September 2023 at the latest. Following a preliminary evaluation of the applications, face-to-face interviews will be held with applicants on Wednesday, 27 September, between 12:00 and 14:00 in the meeting room on the 4th floor of the Faculty building .
Since the competition covers international sales contracts and commercial arbitration, applications from third- and fourth-year students are preferred. 2nd-year students who wish to do so may also take part in the preparations to become familiar with the competition.
The competition is held in English and consists of two stages, written and oral. Therefore, an advanced command of written and spoken English is required. Preparations for the competition begin in October and continue until mid-April.
