BAU enters the 2013-2014 academic year with new faculty and departments. This year, the BAU family opens to students the doors of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as five new departments.
BAU’s Pre-School Education Department opened under the Faculty of Education. With a highly qualified teaching staff, the department has an enrolment quota of 60 students including 52 non-scholarships, 2 50% scholarships, and 6 100% scholarships.
BAU, based on the needs of the current market, opened another department entitled “Logistics Management”. BAU aims to train qualified personnel for employment in all branches of the sector from the moment of graduation. The Logistics Management Department will have an enrolment quota of 44 students including 20 non-scholarships, 20 50% scholarships, 4 100% scholarships.
BAU, in its new academic year, is opening the Transportation Engineering Department, which is a first in Turkey and which exists in very few universities globally. BAU, aiming to graduate Turkey’s first engineers specialized in Transportation, has an enrolment quota of 50 students including 5 non-scholarships, 40 %50 scholarships, and 5 %100 scholarships.
BAU, aiming to prepare its students for a fully-equipped work life, has opened two new departments for Vocational School students for the 2013-2014 academic year. The Department of Private Security and Protection, based on the TGS-5 score, has an enrolment quota of 60 people including 6 100% scholarships and 54 50% scholarships; And the Department of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies has an enrolment quota of 33 students including 3 100% scholarships and 30 50% scholarships.
