The 7th Local Advocacy School Has Taken Place!

The 7th Local Advocacy School, organized in collaboration with the Local Monitoring, Research and Practice Association (YERELİZ), the Marmara Municipalities Union and the Bahçeşehir University Migration and Urban Studies Research and Application Center (BAUMUS), with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Türkiye Office, was held on 24-25 May at the Marmara Municipalities Union.

Held annually, this year's event offered an in-depth program, under the theme "Strategic Planning for Inclusive and Sustainable Cities," on how strategic planning can be carried out to create sustainable and inclusive cities. Many distinguished academics, representatives of prominent civil society organizations and participants took part throughout the two-day event. One of the key speakers of the program was Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata, Founding Director of BAUMUS.
