Our Faculty's Graduation Celebrations Continued on Thursday, 20 August 2020
The graduation ceremony of our faculty's Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, Audiology, Health Management and Occupational Therapy Departments was held in two separate programs on the BAU D Terrace on Thursday, 20 August 2020.
First, at 18:30, the graduation program of our Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation department was held. Then, at 21:00, ourNursing, Audiology, Health Management and Occupational Therapy departments celebrated their graduation.
The highlights of the opening speech given at both programs by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatma Eti Aslan, were as follows:
"You have chosen one of the ten most preferred professions in the world. As long as people exist, you will be needed. Compassion is feeling for the person in pain in front of you and helping them. No device can help another without expecting anything in return. We have trained you in line with the times, but knowledge becomes outdated every 6 months; so be sure to always keep developing yourselves."
Noting that the attendance rate in classes during the pandemic was around 96%, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatma Eti Aslan, said, "Our door will always be open to you; we will be here for you whenever you are in difficulty," and wished all our graduates success.
